The Gig: Manager, Publishing Administration
We’re on the hunt for a detail-oriented, data-loving, music geek to join us as our next Pub Admin Manager. If you’re someone who loves rolling up your sleeves, digging into the nitty-gritty, logic puzzles, “finding the funny” in someone’s ASCAP publishing name, and educating artists along the way, this might just be your dream job.
What You’ll Do
Speaking of the nitty-gritty, here’s a bit more of what your day-to-day might look like:
· Semi-annual royalty accounting
· New client on-boarding
· Works registrations
· Data matching
· Copyright management
· Works conflict resolutions
· Answer client questions
· Communicate with international subpublishers
· Input on A&R decisions
· Collaborate on client creative needs and team initiatives like co-writes, song camps, demos, and more.

What You Bring
What’s in your picnic basket?
• You eat, breathe, sleep, dream about your favorite music, and you’re not shy with your opinions about it, either.
· 1-3 years relevant admin experience, and a willingness to learn.
· Stellar communication and people skills, both with our team and our clients.
· You prefer juggling multiple projects to juggling bowling pins or chainsaws.
· You know all the lingo comin’ in, and never met an acronym you didn’t like (PRO, CWR, MLC, HFA, AIMP, MFN, P4K, Y2K, IYKYK).
· You know your way around a spreadsheet (Excel, Google Sheets, etc), royalty software (Music Maestro, Curve for Publishers, Infinite Catalog, or similar), copyright.gov, repertory searches, YouTube CMS, Spotify for Publishers, Disco, and appreciate a good, custom Slack emoji.
