Licensing Manager, Softlines
Description
- Provide support, information and materials for licensees in order to enhance development of new products and continued retail expansion of existing products
- Ensure consistent and timely financial reporting
- Assist with forecast analysis by quarter
- Collaborate with the following departments: CP LOBs, Franchise, Press, Global Creative Group, Finance, Operations, Standards, and Legal to ensure the best possible support of all Paramount franchises
- Work closely with Retail Development and Marketing teams to ensure licensees are up to date on all major retail initiatives and are actively pitching products for all key seasons throughout the year
- Daily communication with Global Creative Group to handle all product approvals and any rush requests
- Provide access to exclusive artwork on an as needed basis
- Assist with development of plans and strategies to grow business and yearly revenue by handling existing partnerships and outreach to secure new business
- Analyze and negotiate new business deals and seek opportunities for growth across new product categories and retailers
- New licensee set up including Deal Memo set up, D&B health checks, and Creative 101’s
Requirements
- 5+ years in licensing/marketing sales role
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong time management and organization skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
- Goal setter - meets department objectives and develops operational plans and processes
- Proactive – takes initiative on building both internal and external relationships
- Management experience with direct reports
- Creative problem solver, passionate about the entertainment industry
- Social media savvy
