The WME Business Affairs team is seeking a Legal/Administrative Assistant to be based out of our central London office. Supporting two lawyers based in London, you will be responsible for providing daily office support within the Business Affairs division of the WME Music Department. This role would suit someone who is looking to expand their legal knowledge within the music industry, without necessarily wanting to pursue a career in law, and can commit to the role over a long term period.
What You'll Do
  • Point of contact between legal team and music agents and assistants
  • Administrative duties such as answering calls, scheduling meetings, coordinating travel arrangements and producing reports
  • Collation and presentation of data in various formats
  • Management of contract database
  • Detail orientated tasks such as basic review of contracts/other legal paperwork
  • Processing of expense reports
  • Joining weekly team meetings
  • Ad-hoc research tasks related to legal/music fields
  • May also be required to carry out any other duties which are within the scope and purpose of the job

Requirements

You Have These
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Must have undertaken a role of a similar nature
  • Strong administrative experience
  • Ability to use initiative without waiting for direction, and work well in a fast-paced environment managing a high volume workload
  • Proactive, efficient with strong organisational skills
  • Strong IT skills will excellent working knowledge of MS Office and Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to communicate effectively with others
  • Team player
  • Trustworthy and responsible
  • Prior experience/interest in in the music industry and/or legal profession is desired
  • Absolute confidentiality and discretion at all times
Working Conditions
  • Permanent, London - New Oxford Street Offices
  • Working hours are: 37.5 hours per week
  • Working days are: Mon-Fri
