Job Description
TikTok are looking for a Label Partnerships Manager (UK) to build and maintain relationships with label partners both major & independent in the United Kingdom. You will focus on partner management with designated major label & independent labels & distributors, & develop a strategic approach to growing the TikTok platform with our partners, ensuring that opportunities to engage with the platform are being maximised. Responsibilities will also include working cross functionally and collaboratively with teams internally to execute & manage artist projects.
Responsibilities
- Manage the business partnership with all day-to-day contacts for designated major and/or independent label labels & distributors in the UK
- Develop, maintain, and manage relationships with established and emerging artists from the above labels and identify collaborative & XFN opportunities
- Observe, follow and predict the trends in the music industry
- Cross functionally execute all music-related components within TikTok initiatives
- Drive, measure & analyze performance against key engagement metrics
- Focus on planning strategy and partner management with designated major label & independent content providers.
- Develop a strategic approach to growing the TikTok platform with our partners
Requirements
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in a professional music industry role (label, publisher, management), media/marketing agency or commercial digital music/media platform, ideally in a partner facing or promotional capacity
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to take initiative and build strong, productive relationships externally and internally
- Knowledge of the digital music and content distribution industry
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in Excel and the ability to learn required business systems
- Deep network of personal relationships with labels and/or artists
- Vast knowledge of music industry trends across all genres
- Familiar with using data to produce reports on content performance
- Experience working with international partners at different time zones
- Passion for pop culture and entertainment

- Experience working in a fast-changing, hands-on work environment
- Willingness to problem solve
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Proficient in Creative; InDesign, Photoshop, KeyNote, Powerpoint etc
