(Junior) Social Media & Digital Marketing Specialist
Description
- Realize further development and growth of the European EKB social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, others), support exciting communication projects and increase market demand as well as customer retention, reporting directly to the EKB European Marketing Manager
- Manage monthly planning and maintenance of the content of EKB social media channels at pan-EU level as well as the coordination of local social media activities, incl. creation of consolidated editorial plans – organic and paid
- Follow community management, monitor key performance and engagement figures
- Plan, implement, and monitor European-wide social media advertising campaigns to achieve pre-agreed goals
- Take responsibility for monthly planning and editorial preparation as well as distribution of the EKB newsletter at pan-EU level, incl. coordination of local newsletters and content (e-mail marketing)
- Actively collaborate with relevant functions in digital marketing campaigns, EKB and cross-divisional, collaborate on content creation and localization projects such as lifestyle images, videos, marketing materials, blogs
- Conduct performance monitoring of your channels and campaigns monthly, also in comparison to other Yamaha channels, incl. graphical preparation and presentation of results
- Coordinate with external agencies, internal departments, local branches, and service providers and drive the acquisition of market knowledge, also through occasional business trips
Requirements
- University degree in the field of marketing/communication/digital media or comparable qualification
- Professional experience in the marketing field, incl. social media
- Deep know-how in the field of marketing, especially social media, online marketing, and campaign planning, as well as in customer segmentation and targeting
- Experience in creating texts and advertising messages as well as good understanding of graphics and imagery depending on the platform
- Knowledge of working with KPIs and business-oriented approach to problem-solving
- Familiarity with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and InDesign
- Good communication skills in English both spoken and written; other languages a plus
- Interest in music and playing an instrument advantageous
- Show an open, friendly character
- Work independently and in a solution-oriented manner
- Have a strong team spirit, enjoying communication with several stakeholders
- Reliable, and able to work on time
- Creative with good sense of trends and digital market developments
