Junior Social Media & Community Manager

We’re looking for a social media wiz with an enthusiasm for all things digital and culture. The ideal candidate will be a serious music, photography, and people lover, with a keen eye for beautiful aesthetics. You’ll have good knowledge of what works and what doesn’t on social media platforms, and would never shy away from trying new things. You’ll be comfortable working on multiple content platforms, along with scheduling and reporting tools. If you’re someone who can write, loves to build relationships, can engage with people effortlessly and has a positive approach to everything you do - this could be a role for you.

Your Responsibilities
- Curate. Working under the Creative Content & Communications Manager you will assist in curating and sharing beautiful, interesting and engaging content with our community.
- Planning. You’ll use scheduling tools to plan social media posts, keeping calendars up to date and tools content-filled.
- Execute. You’ll execute the strategy laid out by the Creative Content & Communications Manager, sticking to plans and schedules in a highly organised fashion.
- Copywriting. You will write engaging text for captions, community posts, video and music descriptions, newsletter pieces, and more.
- Engage. You will actively engage with our community across multiple channels such as Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and more. You’ll respond to comments and messages with a friendly and professional attitude, ensuring the brands' tone of voice is echoed across channels, whilst being aware that the approach for each channel can sometimes vary.
- Network. You will have your eyes on who is interacting with our content, who follows us and who is actively seeking to connect; initiating brand-brand relationships. You’ll engage with a broad range of creatives online, talking to them directly to ensure our brand is heard and seen.
- Build. You will be actively seeking ways to build our community, increase our following and engagement based on the reporting and analysis of data.
- Maintenance. You’ll keep our databases updated, maintaining newsletter data and our extensive list of contacts within the creative community.
- Curiosity. You’ll seek out interesting content surrounding music, culture, photography, film and more. You’ll be up to date with additional social platforms such Discord and Clubhouse, and be open to communicating with our community through them.
Requirements
- You are highly organised and extremely motivated, approaching all things with enthusiasm.
- You understand how to use social media scheduling and reporting tools and can gather data efficiently to report results.
- You’re comfortable working with Instagram and YouTube, and will adapt smoothly to new or additional social media platforms introduced for our content output. You are an early adopter of social media trends and can adjust your approach easily.
- Your writing skills are on point and you are confident in your communication, and have the ability to be quick witted - whilst remaining approachable and engaging.
- You’re a big music fan and an active follower of the majestic brand. You’re interested in photography, film, design and online culture.
- Preferably you have good photoshop skills, basic graphic design & video editing skills.
- You have an eye for beautiful and functional design.
- You’ve got at least 1 year experience in a similar role and/or have an interesting personal social media account to show us.
- You live for community driven experiences. Your personality is energetic, you’re passionate, fun to be around, and people thrive off your energy :-)
- Full professional proficiency in English.
Benefits & Perks
- Salary: €24,000 - €36,000 per annum
- Reporting into: CEO, Founder (HP Nick)
- Level: Lightweight
- Location: Berlin, Germany or Remote
- Hours: 40 hours per week
