Fall Intern - Artist Management

If you are interested in the music industry and gaining hands-on experience in client management, Mezz Entertainment’s internship in Artist Management and Promotion is a great opportunity for you. Through our internship program, students will gain hands-on experience managing and promoting clients for interviews, shows, and press. Interns will work remotely for the duration of the internship with three weekly teleconference meetings as well as daily communication.
**Interns will: ** -Promote artists to radios, podcasts, and blogs -Book artists for shows -Write artist biographies and promotion material -Develop and maintain contacts throughout music and entertainment industry -Effectively research and pitch artists to ideal platforms


-Knowledge and experience with social media a must -Excellent written and verbal communication skills -Strong research skills -Self directed independent workers with unmatched work ethics who enjoy being a part of a team -Hold degree or currently pursuing degree in marketing, PR, communications, music business, or similar field -Overall GPA of 3.0 or higher -Plan to pursue a career in music/entertainment industry or public relations
**Time Commitment and Location: ** This internship program requires a 15 hour per week commitment with start and end dates based on school schedule. Artist Management Interns will attend three weekly meetings over Zoom on Mondays at 7:30 p.m. EST, Tuesdays at 5:00 p.m. EST, and Thursdays at 5:00 p.m. EST. Tuesday and Thursday meetings last 1-2 hours, and all other days are 45 minutes max.
