DSP Relations Manager
Description
- Disseminate digital consumption data and related analytics across a range of resources, translating those metrics into actionable strategic planning for new music releases
- Work in tandem with managers to identify A&R initiatives focused on driving global digital consumption growth
- Solicit editorial staff at DSPs to help secure playlisting and other programming features for new music
- Identify additional cross-platform programming and other distribution opportunities to drive album promotion
- Collaborate with the Core Marketing team on content strategy (exclusive audio and video content), optimizing it for key partners to drive additional awareness
- Track timelines and key deliverables for multiple artists with active album cycles to ensure timely execution of business development efforts
- Monitor trends, features and lifestyle campaigns on streaming and social platforms which raise an artist’s brand profile, aggregates and activates fans to consume music, content engagement and direct-to-fan e-commerce initiatives
- Business Development - expand existing partner network by building new relationships with key DSP stakeholders, online partners, media platforms, startups and other affiliates in industry
Requirements
- Positive energy and collaboration mindset
- 3-5 years of senior level marketing experience within music industry
- Established global network of relationships with DSPs (Spotify, Apple, Amazon, YouTube…) and other key digital platforms (Tik Tok, Facebook/Instagram, Pandora, Vevo…)
- Understanding of music industry-specific tools, resources and best practices
- Aptitude to think creatively, three-dimensionally and tie different elements of a marketing campaign together
- Demonstrated ability to work independently on multiple priorities and identify new business opportunities in a fast-paced environment
- Superior attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communications and interpersonal skills
- Capacity to identify a value proposition, support with key data and craft pitch materials
- Articulate and charismatic presentation skills
- Tech savvy command of business software (Microsoft Office suite, Adobe, Monday…) and cloud-based software (Google Docs/Drive, Dropbox, Box, Zoom…)
- Discretion in handling confidential data and dealing with high-level artists and industry executive
