About The Role & Team
Are you a video content editor with a passion for sport? An opportunity has become available for Digital Video Content Associate to join the ESPN team in London! You would work with the production and editing of video content on ESPN-branded digital channels globally. The person in this role will work creating content for ESPN.com and YouTube.
This role requires a developed knowledge of digital media content creation via non-linear editing software. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and able to recognise high-level engagement opportunities to further ESPN’s industry-leading video offerings.
Please note we will require you to be based in the office 4 days a week.
What You Will Do
  • Produce and distribute video content for ESPN’s website, app and YouTube channels, particularly around football.
  • Be able to identify trending, “must-see”-type moments from games or on social platforms and translate them into engaging digital video opportunities.
  • Analyse usage and performance metrics that can lead to content enhancements and improvements
  • Collaborate with colleagues in editorial, social and linear production teams to produce and promote digital video.
  • Be available to work on a rota that includes evening and weekend shifts to cover live events during peak sports hours.

Requirements

Required Qualifications & Skills
  • Passion for sports, particularly football, cricket, Formula 1 and other major sports relevant to ESPN's audience.
  • Proficiency with non-linear editing tools (Quantel, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro), graphic design tools (Photoshop, After Effects)
  • Excellent writing, editing, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously
  • Creative mentality with an eye for detail.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to operate Sony and Canon professional cameras
