Digital Producer
Description
- Day-to-Day Publishing: Coordinate closely with product managers and various stakeholders to schedule and publish content updates including homepage production, landing page production, and other web pages.
- Content Marketing: Tell the story on site pages with words, images, and call to actions to help engagement and conversion metrics.
- Project Support: Support production work for projects related to company and email campaigns, new site features, site search, personalization and targeting efforts.
- Operational Efficiency: Optimize workflow to publish assets in the most efficient method for content entry and deliver across multiple platforms, media players and devices. (WCAG management, etc).
- SEO Support: Work with SEO manager on initiatives including tech fixes, page optimization, 404 error management, etc.
- Production Support: Assist in production duties such as photo/graphic production, basic HTML, or other web publishing assignments.
- Performs other duties as assigned. Juggle between multiple projects, have the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and be adaptable and focused.
Requirements
- 2-3 years of web and/or digital publishing experience.
- Strong technical understanding of web platforms, including Content Management Systems, Databases, HTML, and XML.
- Strong grammatical and editing skills required. Excellent ability to write, speak, and use images to clearly and persuasively communicate in technical and non-technical subjects with both technical and non-technical audiences preferred.
- Strong digital storytelling, content marketing, and performance marketing experience preferred.
- BS/BA Degree and/or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
- Strong content strategy and editorial skills. Excellent ability to write, speak, and use words and images to tell a story to help engage and convert customers.
- Spelling, grammar, proofreading and editing skills.
- Creative writing ability.
- Good public speaking and presentation skills.
- Interpersonal skills and ability to interact and work with staff at all levels.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to project professionalism over the phone and in person.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to pay attention to details and be organized.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task, and work under shifting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to take initiative and to follow through on projects.
- Thorough knowledge of MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) and/or Google G Suite Docs, Sheets, and Slides.
- Basic working knowledge of HTML and/or content publishing tools.
- Ability to edit, crop, color-correct graphic images in Photoshop (or eager to learn).
- Experience with collaboration tools like Confluence and JIRA.
- Keeping abreast of emerging technologies and developments in the digital industry.
- Must have legal right to work in the United States.
