Digital Media Planner
Description
- Managing all planning aspects of search, display, audio, video, and mobile advertising campaigns including, media optimization, best practice for digital assets deployment, internal relationship management, integration of 1st party data, SME UK audio inventory and label/business planning.
- Aligning label and artist goals to platform capabilities, prioritizing opportunities to drive sustainable audience value over short-term gains.
- Understand and explain high level industry digital media trends and its impact in context broader artist marketing campaign and digital partner landscape
- Helping to strategize and implement improvements our media management processes and operations.
- Developing and growing relationships with various stakeholders in order to ascertain business needs and add long-term value; align with 4th Floor Creative Digital & Audience Development team on best practices, strategic initiatives and new partner opportunities
- Ability to use 1st and 3rd party data to create and present digital media plans confidently to different stakeholders, ranging from Junior to senior executives
Requirements
- Previous experience in online advertising is needed, whether at a publisher, agency, trading desk, technology company, or end-advertiser.
- Strong data analysis abilities (e.g. familiarity with Excel v-lookups, pivot tables, and basic functions)
- Strong analytical and consulting skills, rooted in ability to draw and communicate insights from multiple data points
- Consultative approach to developing and managing business relationships
- Innovative and creative thinker with prior evidence of successfully executing on ideas
- Ambition to perform unprecedented tasks and obtain new skills, be comfortable with uncertainty, and adapt to a rapidly changing environment
- Ability and desire to scale knowledge and learning to other junior members
- Love of music required; understanding of music business and digital music landscape preferred
- Experience working in a matrixed organization a plus
