Creative Producer
Description
- Work with Senior Manager and Strategy stakeholders to set creative strategy and execution plan for season-long graphic identity projects and marketing campaigns.
- Oversee in-project communication and budget tracking for vendor work.
- Organize and run stakeholder and creative team meetings, setting each team member up for success with clear agendas, goals, and next steps.
- Point of contact for strategy communications from Creative Producing and Production.
- Manage changes to deliverables lists and/or project schedules.
- Make budget decisions within limits prescribed by creative and executive leaders.
- Conduct and organize research for projects in collaboration with creative leaders. Collect and analyze project takeaways in an accessible and user-friendly space.
- Forecast with Senior Management to build long range planning and priorities.
- Accountable for strict adherence to established department procedures.
- Develop thorough knowledge of various network and show looks/campaigns.
- Motivate, educate, direct a team or individual Designers, Animators, Editors, and others assigned to a project whether in-house, freelance or with an external production group.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years broadcast producing or marketing experience.
- Ability to run internal meetings, and some meetings with client/stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft based software (Word, Excel, 365).
- Demonstrated ability to get along with diverse personalities and working styles.
- Partnering and teamwork skills.
- Project management skills.
- Ability to lead creative and producing teams on large- and small-scale projects.
- Detail and multi-task oriented, the ability to multitask and deliver consistently with accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work well within a team environment.
- Very strong communication (both oral and written) and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of the sports design space, trends, and an understanding of ESPN’s place amongst the competition.
- Knowledge of ESPN distribution points, including MVPDs and SVODs.
- Knowledge of project management tools, including Asana, Atlassian tools, Smartsheet, etc.
