What You’ll Do:
  • Manage the employee, songwriter and guest experience by:
  • Actively welcoming and greeting guests.
  • Oversee and manage front desk area.
  • Assist Office Manager and employees with special projects.
  • Office Services:
  • Place orders for and stock office and kitchen supplies (snacks/beverages)
  • Oversee all common areas to include, coordinating availability of conference room, writer room, set-up and assist with meeting prep (catering, audio visual, etc.)
  • Oversee Outlook calendar systems for booking meeting/listening rooms.
  • Coordinate all office mailing to include, overnight shipments and/or messenger services.
  • Proactively keep the office directory up to date
  • Safety and Security:
  • Assist with all safety and security processes and drills.
  • Serve as member of your building Safety Team (searchers, etc.)
  • Other:
  • Assist Office Manager with company events.
  • Assist with recording studio billing for Los Angeles & Atlanta studios.
  • Process all vendor invoices in Global search (accounts payable program)
  • Prepare all expense reports for company credit cards (3)

Requirements

Who You Are:
  • Must be passionate about songwriters.
  • Must align with Sony’s Purpose and Values.
  • 1 year of previous administrative and reception experience required (entry level)
  • Proficient in Office 365, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams.
  • Required to work in the office Monday – Thursday 9:30am – 6:00pm
  • Variations in work volume may require extended working hours for evening and late-night events.
  • Ability to respectfully engage and support the diverse workforce – creative, technical, financial, and executive – in an effective, efficient, and collaborative manner.
  • Ability to work both independently and with a team.
  • Must be approachable and demonstrate patience and courtesy while engaging with guests and employees.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills required.
  • Proactive in taking initiative while staying organized and solution-oriented.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects while producing excellent results in a timely manner.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Punctuality is a must.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.

DISCLAIMER:
The anticipated annual base salary for this position is $45,000 - $48,000. This range does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
