Coordinator, Label Operations
Description
- Enter and manage releases in the Physical New Release Hub
- Communicate commercial projections to label partners
- Collect assets for Preorder and New Release setup sheets for submission to UMG’s central commercial team
- Manage stock PO’s for both Catalog and New Releases to ensure timely delivery to physical retail partners
- Liaise with label partners and supply chain teams to ensure physical releases make their way to market in a timely manner and to required specifications.
- Gather necessary data and information for RIAA Certification submission
- Manage stock transfer orders for various needs/purposes
Requirements
- Extreme attention to detail
- Logistically minded, extremely organized
- Time management, plans the timing of tasks to always meet set objectives
- Some direction and monitoring are required to support the organization and structure
- Follows relevant workflow and business processes
- Is developing an understanding of different organizational departments and functions
- Volunteers and “pitches in” to help other team members who are under pressure. Participates in wider business initiatives and projects when asked
- Strong organizational, administrative, and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Available to work from both in office location and from home (Hybrid)
- Minimum 1 year of executive assistant and/or coordinator experience
- Attention to detail
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Experience with data management systems including Airtable and Monday.com
- Strong organizational, administrative and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of and previous experience in Record Label operations process but not required
- Degree preferred
