Job Purpose:
To further Sony Music Publishing’s place, leadership, and expertise in the Music Publishing Industry.
What You’ll Do:
  • Cue sheet review, maintaining ongoing episodic series and song entry
  • Assist with the distribution of cue sheets to US PROs and affiliate offices.
  • Assist with the coordination of cue sheet deliveries between the studio clients and Film and TV Copyright Staff.
  • Analyze music cue sheets for registration, distribution, and royalty processing requirements.
  • Fielding and investigating cue sheet requests from affiliate offices or PROs
  • Assist department staff with special projects and other duties as assigned
  • Document imaging, including but not limited to agreements, cue sheets, and correspondence.
  • Provide regular task status report to the supervisor
  • Commercial/Jingle registration with US PROs.

Requirements

Who You Are:
  • Ability to maintain high levels of accuracy while handling multiple tasks
  • Ability to manage and prioritize a large volume of work
  • Ability to prioritize and complete all tasks in the allotted time frame
  • Ability to set their own goals, while working within departmental goals
  • Computer systems literate – proficiency in the use of MS Word and Excel
  • An excellent communicator and enthusiastic collaborator who works well with team members.
  • Able to adapt quickly to a changing environment with minimal disruption
  • Demonstrable knowledge and experience in music publishing administration.
  • You are able to draw conclusions from data and propose effective solutions
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
