Coordinator, Digital Content & Design
Description
- Collaborate with Corporate Communications and other division colleagues to publish content daily to various channels (press releases, internal memos, leadership interviews, news and updates surrounding key company initiatives)
- Pitch content ideas with a channel-first framework that considers how a single piece of content would connect with Sony Music's stories and live across various channels as well as how it should be altered and/or optimized for our various external channels
- Create and edit visual materials from standardized design templates to accompany content pieces
- Organize editorial calendars and proactively communicate upcoming deadlines to department and division colleagues
- Maintain and organize an internal photo and video library
- Liaise with different business units and labels to source photo assets and fact checks
- Stay on top of, and in lock step with, social media culture, content trends and new platforms, continually strategizing how to evolve our corporate brand voice and storytelling
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of relevant working experience in an editorial content role, with a portfolio of work to show productions of self-developed content
- High level of visual/design sensibilities with basic knowledge of design programs such as Photoshop or InDesign
- Familiarity with Content Management Systems (CMS) and basic understanding of web publishing
- Superior writing skills and creative content development
- Strong collaboration and communication skills a must
- Bachelor degree in Journalism, Marketing or relevant field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
