Content Marketing Creator
Description
- Consistently produce social content on Instagram, Tiktok, YouTube and Facebook to market various news and entertainment properties
- Plan, produce and deliver video content featuring our news talent for television broadcast and social media
- Repurpose news content for YouTube
- Monitor, track and analyze social media performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of a campaign
- Look for new and innovative ways to create marketing content that will reach our audience efficiently and represent our brand
- Meet scheduling deadlines
- Participate in station community events including appearances within the community
- Work with Creative Services Director to create promotional strategies on radio, televisions and social media
- Ability to work flexible schedule
- This position reports to the Creative Services Director
- Stay up to date with current promotional content from local station competitors
Requirements
- Professional knowledge of DSLR and Sony Cinema Camera operations.
- Experience in writing powerful, attention-grabbing copy
- Knowledge of social media trends, tactics, and features
- A college degree and two years previous experience in social or broadcast content creation
- Proficient with Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator
- Must be able to create, conceptualize, script, shoot, and edit cutting edge content while also managing deadlines
- General knowledge of basic motion graphics and visual effects
- Strong verbal, written and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Knowledge of the top social media platforms and best practices for posting to social media.
- Highly creative and strong communication skills
