Description

As part of the business development/sales team, we’re looking for a highly motivated and focussed Client Development Director to challenge the norm and support us in generating new ticketing business across a wide spectrum of genres and continue to build up relationships with existing and potential clients. You will be dealing with a wide variety of clients from every genre of the events industry including music and sports. Your naturally outgoing personality will need to shine through at all times, and you should have a proven new business sales track record backed up by achievements against targets.
This is a hands-on role, that will require a mix of operational thinking, business acumen and client facing expertise.
Responsibilities:
  • You will proactively support, develop, and enable new opportunities for business and growth in the market. In collaboration with your team and the Senior Director Sales & Marketing Central Europe and the Managing Director CR ensure a good development of the company's revenues regarding ticket revenues, online, sponsorships and any other revenues
  • Responsible to build a larger client base in the long term = more and new clients
  • Responsible for processing, follow-up, business development and build relationship with a number of Ticketmaster's existing key clients (A + B clients)
  • Ensure that all company's existing client agreements are renegotiated on terms attractive to the company
  • Create customised sales and marketing materials to suit varied potential audiences in line with marketing team.
  • Demonstrate product knowledge to allow for effective presentation of company technology and services to both clients and colleagues
  • Building motivation and a high productivity within the sales team in close collaboration with the Senior Director Sales & Marketing - Central Europe and the Managing Director CR
  • Set and review the sales structure to make sure it is aligned with the regional structure.
  • Growing out the client base, ticket volumes, revenue and margin and that are in line with the OKRs for the region.
  • Work close together with regional Artist Service team to identify und develop strong network in local pomoter landscape.

Requirements

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (or TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS):
  • Experience with building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, i.e. complex reimbursement processes and discussions, together with a strong level of sector knowledge.
  • Proven record to engage and understanding the value of working as a team
  • Dare to challenge old habits and seek for new ways.
  • Demonstrable experience in year-on-year client growth/acquisition, strong levels of client retention, examples of upselling, margin growth, exceeding targets
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills and must be fluent in Local language with strong English skills.
  • Innovative and flexible approach – thrive to find solutions outside the box.
  • Ideally knowledge of live entertainment industry or sports industry
