Clean Team Assurance Manager
Description
- Review of PRS Mandate requests under PRS policy
- Review of MTOL requests from mandated entities
- Revenue Assurance tracking of MOTL revenues from mandated entities
- Reporting to either the Board or Monitoring Trustee
- manage online revenue assurance for PRS multi-territory online exploitation (MTOL) where PRS has mandated entities to license its rights;
- provide business analytics and associated support for the Clean Team with respect to market shares and other metrics to assist in the approval of deal terms and mandates;
- provide key support and lead strategic projects as required by the Clean Team; and assist in the corporate reporting activities of the Clean Team.
- Owning the Mandate Cost models
- Interpret data and provide insights to the Clean Team to allow for a more informed and evidence-based decision making
- Consistently produce fit for purpose, high quality, detailed and accurate data analysis and reports
- Understand the terms of the licences and work with SME’s in licensing/ICE/Legal
- Preparing, reviewing and sending to The Board, an overview of mandate financials to ensure cost effectiveness and assurance over revenue
- Analysing publisher and writer revenues via the above and through conversations with key publishers
- Responsible for other ad-hoc revenue assurance activities and support for strategic projects
- Monitor compliance with terms of mandate and escalate where anomalies or breaches have been identified
- Support the Online mandate and licence approval process
- Ensure close relationship between the legal, finance and operations teams
- Support finance with the commercial outlook for Budget and 5 Year Plan
- Working closely with the Strategy team on analysis and developing market knowledge
- Developing the use of business intelligence tools to improve reporting and automation
- Ad-hoc scenario modelling
Requirements
- Professional Accountancy qualification is desirable
- Educated to degree standard, preferably within a numerical subject
- Understanding of music rights and structures for online exploitation is desirable
- Proficient in analysis using Microsoft Excel
- Able to present and summarise complex information in a variety of ways to best suit the audience
- Analytical and enquiring mind
- Revenue reporting experience is preferable
- A team player with the ability to take initiative to prioritise effectively and manage communication across various stakeholders
- Experience using PowerPoint
- Some general commercial knowledge and/or an understanding of the music industry, in particular online music licensing, an advantage but not a requirement
