Provides operational and business support to the Music Department; prepares recording scripts and related audio documentation, tracks costs and estimates related to audio & dubbing projects; maintains document library of all shows; assists in coordinating and scheduling audio department projects; assists department in preparing budget information; process & monitors the timely payment of departmental vendors and contractors.
Essential Functions
- Identifies external dubbing / recording studios to facilitate dubbing / recording projects. Negotiates costs & schedules projects with recording studios
- Liaise with International and N. American sales and marketing on tour itineraries to determine dubbing needs
- Establish and monitor schedules for all foreign dubs and coordinate with units for delivery dates of dubbing materials: scripts, translations, show tracks etc
- Tracks, monitors, and reports on costs related to departmental project activities - voice talent; foreign dubbing contracts; contracts related to new and revised productions
- Tracks, updates, and justifies scripts and documents for all versions of all shows, foreign and domestic
- Codes and processes invoices and tracks payments for composers, lyricists, arrangers, orchestrators, copyists, musicians, talent, recording studios and studio personnel, etc. for domestic and foreign projects
- Coordinates shipping and delivery of final dubbing materials to shows as directed
Requirements
Qualiifications
- 3-5 yrs. work experience in music recording related industry.
- Associate degree in business or equivalent work experience
Skills & Abilities
- Strong computer skills with functional knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects at one time
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with little supervision.
- Enthusiastic about music industry and related technology
