The Role
The CAA Brand Consulting Sr. Account Manager, Talent will play a key role in one of our largest Brand Consulting clients. The Sr. Account Manager will co- lead across all Entertainment Talent including the day-to-day management of talent partnership across the brand’s portfolio and is responsible for linking Talent strategy alongside broader Entertainment strategy. The candidate will interface day to day with the client and will work cross functionally with talent managers, agents, labels, internal/external vendors, and agencies. Lead direct client relationships and connect the internal account leads.

Responsibilities
  • Lead across all talent and influencer partnerships
  • Ongoing Talent relationship and partnership management
  • Ensure talent program consistency
  • Main point of contact for client for assigned projects focused on talent partnerships within entertainment
  • Manages multiple projects and budgets autonomously
  • Lead development of concepts & facilitate creative approval process for talent
  • Leads client calls and provides expert opinions
  • Leads client presentation for projects
  • Manages budget development, tracking & reconciling
  • Day to day management of existing talent partnerships including communication directly with talent representation, developing talent activation plans, organization of project plans and asset tracking documents
  • Assist with recommendation, negotiation and management of talent deals
  • Oversee & facilitate the creative development process of marketing materials for talent, experiential assets and event-related creative (includes briefing designers & obtaining internal & client approvals)
  • Work with other team functions (e.g. Creative, Experiential, Social Impact, Insights / trends, etc.) to ensure goals and objectives are met
  • Develop and deliver compelling written and verbal communications
  • Create presentations for key meetings internally and externally
  • Track activation budgets with accountability for reporting
  • Develop relationships across CAA and with external partners to find and promote new opportunities to client

Requirements

Requirements
  • BA or BS strongly preferred or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Ability to travel and be onsite at events
  • Strong industry connectivity - established relationships within entertainment industry – specifically talent representation
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrate highest level of critical thinking with focus on proactiveness and attention to detail
  • Expertise in managing projects and budgets
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Previous experience with managing and developing junior staff members
  • Project management expertise
  • Sustain relationships with clients and grow the business
  • Understanding of the client’s industry and latest developments
Preferred Skills
  • Music Industry relationships a plus (labels, publishers, agency)
  • Previous experience in the Music Industry, at an Entertainment Company, or at Brand focused within Entertainment
Location
  • Based out of the Los Angeles or New York offices. This role is onsite/in office Tuesday thru Thursday and remote Monday and Friday.
