Audio Growth & Marketing Coordinator (FTC)
Description
- Being a key part of the Audio Distribution team and a core role in how we market and grow podcast titles globally
- Lead on tracking of assets and deliverables for promotional campaigns, including what has been requested, who is responsible for delivering them and when they are due to deliver.
- Support with the set up and tracking of digital campaigns across different owned media types, including audio promotions against podcast inventory, ad inventory on BBC.com, promotional inventory in newsletters and other channels.
- Support the Marketing Manager with drafting and submitting briefs in key marketing assets and facilitating signoff processes, working with creative and production teams.
- Support the Audio Growth Manager with opportunities to support the growth of key podcast priorities, including for cross promotional opportunities with other podcast publishers.
- Assist with asset sourcing and fulfilment to internal and external partners, for both promotion campaign set up and for support of BAU operations in the team.
- Support the organisation and implementation of both owned + paid feed drops for priority show launches.
- Drafting promotional copy across a range of paid, owned and earned channels for podcast marketing campaigns.
- Support the wider Audio team with critical projects and activities that are designed to increase the number of listeners globally who are listening to our podcast content.
- Keeping project documentation, key BAU schedules and decks, and campaign analysis up to date – using Monday.com, Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Office to organise documents and track progress.
- Coordinate business calendar activities to help monitor delivery, outputs and key industry moments.
- Help cascade information across the wider team to ensure effective communication flow.
- Work closely with BU business support functions across the BBC ensuring that all processes are followed.
- Act as a champion of podcast and audio at BBC Studios
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in providing administrative support within a professional setting, preferably within the media sector.
- Organised with ability to prioritise own workload effectively, to coordinate activities and conflicting demands to ensure that tight deadlines are met.
- Good communication skills both orally and in writing, and the ability to target content for the audience.
- Basic analytical skills, with experience of providing MI data reports.
- Ability to work with limited supervision, using own initiative to resolve most problems.
- High attention to detail and practical experience of gathering, analysing and collating complex and confidential information
- Passion for podcasts and audio
- Strong computer skills with strong experience of office software packages (i.e. Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
- Proven ability to work constructively in partnership with a range of individuals.
- Knowledge of wider audio industry.
- Project management experience.
