Associate Growth Manager, Audiobooks
Description
- Develop and ideate on growth and promotional tactics to support Audiobooks format adoption. Strategies and tactics will span audience development, launching growth programs, evaluating distribution surfaces/channels, testing content as an adoption tool and sizing/developing new growth levers
- Partner with insights to develop data driven narratives to contextualize how we are pacing against growth targets. The role will require both a macro understanding of Audiobooks performance on Spotify and a detailed perspective on promotional surfaces & various growth tactics effectiveness
- Collaborate cross functionally with wider Spotify teams to operationalize workstreams and execute upon growth levers. Teams span product, content/editorial, marketing, creator, and insights teams
- Become an expert on the Audiobooks industry - by understanding our competitors, keeping an eye on developments impacting growth, and proactively sharing this knowledge across relevant teams
Requirements
- You have at least 3+ years of experience in a growth or digital marketing role that intersects with product and/or content.
- You have proven experience helping grow products in the market and experience setting up and evaluating growth tests and campaigns.
- You’re hands-on and comfortable using AI tools to move work forward (whether drafting messages, generating queries, or adjusting images), but ultimately apply strong judgement and an eye for clarity, quality and thoroughness.
- You have excellent communication skills and are adept at evangelising project goals across a variety of different stakeholders.
- You are collaborative, curious, and excited to work across a variety of teams and contexts to understand the bigger picture.
- You have strong personal organization and project management abilities.
- You’re familiar with AI tooling and prompting techniques, and using them to accelerate analysis, improve operational processes, and/or inspire new workflows.
- You get the job done, even if you don’t have direct control of all the resources.
- This role is based in New York
- We offer you the flexibility to work best! There will be some in person meetings, but still allows for flexibility to work from home. We ask that you come in 2-3 times per week.
