Description

We are searching for an insanely creative, Junior producer / director with a passion for music and music based content to join our Original Content and Production team. Reporting to one of the Senior Producers of Original Content and Production, you will play a key role in the success of the Original Content and Production team’s slate of content offerings including artist promo performances, in-studio production in our La Studio, social content development and execution, as well as short form marketing formats.
This role will be focused on lighting, blocking and camera directing live performances for some of music’s biggest artists in studio. As a creative coordinating producer for Original Content and Production, this role will be very akin to being an in-house studio director with a great path for growth and development. This role will also require a decent knowledge of lighting, camera tech, film, and technical logistics, set lighting, and most importantly gear and studio organization. Are you up to the challenge? This is a full-time position and is based at our office in Los Angeles.
As a member of our team, you will:
  • Shoot and Light artist promotional content including in studio Live Performances
  • Be responsible for gear and studio organization
  • Oversee social and marketing film capture and creative on set through lens
  • Be responsible for ensuring the visual capture is up to Vevo’s Original Content standard
  • Be solid good vibes at all times

Requirements

  • You have ideally 2-3+ years’ experience working as a content creative
  • Must have a content reel for review
  • A background in directing musical performance
  • Well rounded history of shooting, lighting, and producing or editing content
  • The ability to build multiple camera systems
  • A relevant degree is preferable.
This is a full-time position based on-site/in the office. Vevo will operate in a hybrid work model and will require employees to be in office 2-3 days a week, on average. To qualify for the role you will need to be currently located near the office that you will be based out of, as well as provide proof of vaccination against COVID-19 prior to employment.
