The PepsiCo Energy Portfolio is seeking a dynamic, highly collaborative, and creative marketer with a passion for music marketing, brand building, and marketing communications. The ideal candidate will have previous music and culture marketing experience that was translated through partnership marketing, talent relations, and digital and traditional advertising. They should have experience in creative development, project management, and driving culturally-relevant initiatives. The ideal candidate is a good teammate with a strong ability to build relationships internally and externally.
The Assistant Marketing Manager of Music & Culture will be focused on carrying out tactics determined by the music strategy and vision developed for Rockstar Energy and other energy brands. They will be responsible for conducting cultural and competitive research, executing in-year music programs, managing partnerships, and serving as a thought leader in music and culture marketing insights and trends.
Responsibilities Include
  • Managing music and culture-related projects for the Energy portfolio
  • Conducting research to provide competitive reports, consumer insights, marketing trends, and music-related insights
  • Collaborating with internal and external partners to ensure smooth execution across all ongoing projects
  • Ideating and concepting innovative and strategic music/culture-based initiatives based on brand objectives and consumer insights
  • Managing project budgets as a part of the larger music and brand budget
  • Building decks throughout various phases of each project in addition to developing recap decks
  • Submitting invoices, creating POs, and carrying out finance-related tasks to ensure timely payment to all partners and vendors
Skills & Capabilities:
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously in a fast-changing environment
  • Self-starter with strong ownership and ability to work independently on projects
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Have a constant pulse on culture and understand where we can make an impact in the Energy category
  • Ability to utilize data to provide actionable insights and drive strategic agenda
  • Ability to report on the success of a project based on pre-determined KPIs
  • Ability to apply storytelling to various projects and manage creation and production of content
  • Advanced Keynote/PowerPoint skills & able to build clear decks
  • Strong ability to collaborate and partner with cross-functional partners

Requirements

Qualifications/Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years experience in music marketing/partnerships, entertainment partnerships, content marketing, or brand marketing
  • Previous music industry experience with relevant relationships preferred
  • Previous experience in working in the beverage and/or CPG category a plus
  • Strong verbal/written communication and project management skills
