Assistant Management Accountant, Festivals
Description
- Support production of monthly management accounts in accordance with agreed timescales.
- Compare event-by-event budgets vs. forecasts with explanations of major variances.
- Authorising and processing of festival purchase orders and invoices.
- Assisting with balance sheet reconciliations.
- Monthly review of all ongoing budget expenditure with event stakeholders, highlighting risk areas where budgets are likely to be exceeded.
- Ad-hoc support.
Requirements
- Proven experience within a finance department.
- Financial/management reporting experience working to tight deadlines.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong administration, time management and presentation skills.
- Media/entertainment/FMCG background.
- Experience with Oracle and BPC.
- Part qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent.
- Strong work ethic with a can-do attitude.
- Forward thinking with a positive attitude towards change.
- Ability to multi-task and work in a challenging fast paced environment.
- Self-starter and problem solver.
- Deadline focused.
- Works well in a team environment and always willing to help others.
- Happy to be flexible in working hours to facilitate working/attending the festivals.
