Description

This role will assist the Artist Relations team that supports Fender’s relationships with Hip Hop, R&B, and Gospel artists. Primarily, this role would be a key support for the team with cross-functional organization and execution of campaigns, events, and shoots.
  • Maintain and update the Artist Relations roadmap, including getting key inputs from stakeholders across Artist Relations
  • Manage the budget sheet to review with Directors & VP of Artist Relations
  • Research potential artist that Fender could potentially partner with in the future within R&B, HipHop, Gospel, Afrobeats, and Pop
  • Work with cross-functional teams to help manage and execute initiatives with internal and external partners

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a 4-year university
  • Majoring in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Business, or related field
  • Music Industry or Guitar enthusiast preferred
  • Comfort working in a business environment with a diverse team of professionals
  • Strong working capabilities in Microsoft Office programs, database programs, research tools and electronic media
  • Strong working capabilities in Google Drive, Google Docs, and Google Sheets
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Flexible, with the ability to effectively prioritize projects within the department
  • Team-player and highly with the ability to work independently once assignments are given
  • Attention to detail
