Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our growing Account Development team. While APM Music serves many markets, one of our most important market segments is our Advertising market. This particular role is to collaborate closely with our Account Executive for the Northeast region to build relationships with both existing and new clients and deliver outstanding client experiences.
The Role Be the primary point of contact and super responsive to a set of assigned Accounts to develop a trusted advisor relationship with clients Ability to identify and forge new relationships within assigned Accounts Monitor and analyze customer's usage of our product Gain deep understanding of our clients' needs and workflows Develop deep understanding of the APM value propositions and effectively be able to communicate them to clients Develop a deep understanding of music licensing, including what rights are needed, knowing our rate card, and to be able to provide quotes Proactively sending value added communication around our products and services Utilize APM's internal workflow and tools to efficiently communicate within internal members across departments to deliver on client requests for music needs Negotiate contracts with clients Plan and present reports on account progress, goals, and quarterly initiatives to share with team members and stakeholders Maintain accurate client records, keeping track of any contracts, opportunities, and renewals

Requirements

  • A strong understanding of the advertising market, specifically understanding how Ad agencies operate
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, sales, or relevant field
  • 3+ years of experience in sales, account management, or similar role
  • Proficient with CRM software and keeping accurate client communication and Account details (Salesorce.com or similar)
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and manage more than one client account
  • Proven results of delivering client solutions and receiving positive customer feedback
  • Strong organizational skill with attention to detail
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Deep understanding of digital and social media
  • Self-motivated and able to thrive in a results-driven environment
  • Natural relationship builder with integrity, reliability and maturity
  • Ability to prioritize among competing tasks
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent time and project management skills. You're always looking to improve inefficient processes
  • Keen attention to detail and adherence to deadlines
