Description
- Actively seek new artistic opportunities through research on social media, charts, streaming platforms, playlists, and data tools employed by the company.
- Utilize internal tools provided by UnitedMasters to convert high-potential subscribers into artist partners.
- Generate weekly reports supported by data to brief the team on new opportunities.
- Work closely with partner artists and managers to ensure a robust release plan that aligns with the company's performance expectations.
- Act as the primary point of contact for hiring, planning, and supporting non-exclusive artist partners, which includes contract requests, playlist support, and a framework of best practices from production to music platform release and social media promotion.
Requirements
- Fluency in English
- Knowledge of different Digital Music Services and social media platforms
- Research and Analytical Skills: Ability to conduct in-depth research on social media, streaming platforms, charts, and data tools to identify emerging artists and trends.
- Relationship Management: Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with artists, managers, and other stakeholders, ensuring a collaborative approach to artist development.
- Strategic Thinking: Capability to develop and execute long-term strategies for artist growth, while managing daily operations and meeting performance expectations.
- Communication Skills: Proficiency in articulating ideas and plans, both in written reports and verbal communication, including briefing teams on new opportunities and coordinating with artists.
- Digital Music and Social Media Proficiency: Knowledge of various digital music services and social media platforms to optimize artist promotion and distribution.
- Prior experience in A&R with some knowledge in research and reportings
- Demonstrated experience establishing and maintaining relationships, interacting with recording artists
- Bachelor's degree in Music or Music related fields and/or Marketing, Marketing Communications or related field;
- Strategic- Able to develop long-term strategy and plans and balance that with strong day-to-day execution
