A&R / Song Plugger

A&R
We’re looking for an aspiring and passionate A&R to join our team full time - they can be based in NY, Nashville or Los Angeles or London (as long as they have a deep US network).
As an A&R and song plugger, you will be responsible for aggressively coordinating sessions and pitching records from our current roster and catalogue as well finding new artists, writers and producers. You will assist in signing and developing artists, securing co-writes and collaborations for our current roster, and become a trusted liaison between our team and external management, label and publishing teams.
We are looking for someone who is self-motivated and creative, with excellent communication and strong business skills and a strong network.
- You need the ability to identify emerging trends within the music industry.
- You will have the opporutnity with great incentive to find and develop new talent for FINE Group/ Bigger Picture
- Assist with the recording process, and communication between all contributors
- Continuously build relationships with new artists, managers, A&Rs, publishers etc.
- Establish relationships with our current roster of artists
- Assist in creating pitches for signed artists and writers to labels and producers for potential collaborations and placements
- Cataloging of current roster records and consistently updating catalogue accordingly (in conjunction with assistant at the company)
- Pitching for sync opportunities using current catalogue (if needed)
Requirements
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
- Passionate about music and self-motivated
- Understand the A&R and recording process
- You have an understanding of the music marketplace
- Excellent communication and relationship management skill
- Be involved in the music scene and have your own network complimenting ours- critical.
