Description

The Clever Group is looking for an A&R Intern to join our team in Houston, Texas! Reporting to the Director of A&R, the A&R Intern is responsible for being the liaison and project manager. The A&R manages the assigned artist musical projects and their campaign(s). In a brief sense the A&R is responsible for navigating the client's musical career. The ideal candidate must have a thorough understanding of music and the contemporary music scene. Candidates should be able to oversee and manage a successful campaign for the client. Must be focused and be able to collaborate with other departments such as Marketing & Creative while meeting strict deadlines.
While you are allowed to receive college credit, this is an unpaid internship! The internship program will last for 6 months.
Here’s What You’ll Do:
Overseeing campaign for client
Being liaison between client & company
Advocating for the interest of the artist
Managing campaign to be on schedule
Supervising the planning of the branding & marketing of the artist
Curating content to be cohesive with Client’s Branding
Networking & utilizing resources that will be beneficial to the artist and their career
Supporting other departments with the things they need for from the Client
Assisting the client with things they need to be successful with their branding
Documenting progress of client
Prepare campaign document

Requirements

Education in Communications, Business, Marketing and/or Advertising
