Description

Avant Gardner is a 6,000 capacity event complex that houses three distinct areas: the outdoors Brooklyn Mirage during the summer season and the indoors Great Hall and Kings Hall open year-round.
Primary Ticketing Responsibilities
  • Build shows on ticketing platform with information from Talent Buyer or Prism.
  • Coordinate announcements with the responsible party in Programming to ensure all required information is acquired in advance and passed to Marketing.
  • Responsible for posting in event updates (Slack channel) if any significant changes occur or if the show sells out.
  • Respond to all ticketing inquiries via Zendesk and provide top-quality customer service.
  • Monitor ticket sales in real-time and send out daily updated ticket counts to Programming and Marketing team. Provide ticket counts when prompted to approved external teams (agencies, promoters, clients, etc).
  • Develop ticketing reconciliation reports and other reporting formats.
  • Process and track refunds both on and offline.
  • Create, modify, and maintain inventory for all ticketed events.
  • Manage ticket-holds for each event/show. Process orders for all ticket buys including artist management, record label, and internal buys.
  • Collaborate with Programming, Artist Management, and Discount Vendors to create ticket packages for shows and events.
  • Maintain online ticketing platforms including Eventbrite, DICE, and Resident Advisor, as well as any integrations or extensions as needed.
  • Add new events to SevenRooms and update as requested by Guest Experience team members.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures while maintaining records for all events.
  • Provide sub promoters with sales count, invoicing numbers, and tracking links.
  • Collect ticketing data for marketing purposes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 2+ years related music industry experience
  • Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy in written communication, organizational responsibility, and multi-tasking skills
  • Familiarity with ticketing platforms including Eventbrite, Resident Advisor, DICE and related applications
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Data analysis skills or experience a plus
