Avid is looking for a commercially astute Business Development/Program Manager to drive the innovation and go-to-market activities with Avid’s strategic Cloud partners and our innovation programs with our joint enterprise customers.
Avid is the global market leader in video creation tools for film, television entertainment, news and sports, providing media creation solutions for individual creatives through to the largest media enterprises, delivered on premise or in the cloud as products, SaaS or managed services solutions.
Avid’s Video and Media business unit is responsible for all our products and solutions used for video creation and management. This role is within the business unit’s Strategy, Alliances and Business Development function which leads the development of the business unit’s strategy, augmenting Avid’s solutions through a network of partnerships and targeted acquisitions, and working with customers to help them initiate their transformation initiatives.  You will be part of a global strategic innovation team with a focus on accelerating Cloud solutions to market working closely with Avid’s internal business units, key industry partners and major enterprise customers.
You can work remotely or be office based
What you will do:
  • Develop and manage onboarding program with new strategic partners
  • Drive and track joint GTM activities with Avid’s strategic partners
  • Drive and track joint innovation activities with Avid’s strategic partners and major customers
  • Identify new customer innovation and partner opportunities
  • Drive successful outcomes with each program
  • Provide weekly/monthly/quarterly dashboard and reports of progress internally and to partners
  • Develop long term relationships with partners.
  • Develops effective working relationships with all levels within Avid

Requirements

Who you are:
  • You have at least 5 years of commercial program management experience in media entertainment products and services, preferably in a SaaS company
  • You have a proven track record of delivering successful innovation programs in challenging fast moving environments
  • You are commercially astute
  • You are adept at networking/matrix management and multiple stakeholder management
  • You have excellent communication and presentation skills and experienced at communicating across all functional levels
  • You are comfortable working in a fast-paced, international environment,
  • You have good Salesforce.com knowledge
  • You have excellent Microsoft Office skills
