We're looking for a Social Media Coordinator, YouTube Music, to join XX Artists’ rapidly growing team. As a Social Media Coordinator, YouTube Music, you will be an integral part of a team dedicated to an existing client that intersects both brand and music. You will own daily social media and marketing operations for the global brand handles, as well as monitor both internal and external key deliveries and deadlines.
  • Manage day-to-day communications with social marketing team and cross-functional teams (Artist partner managers, YouTube Music marketing, YouTube global social marketing team)
  • Drive and excitement for new music releases and supporting social-first initiatives
  • Support in the project management of asset creation, content ideation, and knowledge sharing
  • Manage live/active social media calendars and engagement opportunities documents in partnership with agency
  • Daily utilization of Sprinklr and Google Tables for content publishing and tracking
  • Identify problematic and/or crisis content for escalation
  • Utilize knowledge of the overall music and social landscape, trending topics, and leverage the latest social media best practices in order to provide ongoing thought leadership
  • Identify social media trends opportunities and working with team members to create bespoke strategies that meet YouTube Music voice and drive marketing goals
  • Educate partners on briefing and intake process and criteria for support from Social
  • Manage inbound requests, working to ensure the requests meet intake briefs and reject requests that don’t fit our criteria
  • Assist in the ongoing development of social playbooks and help train team members, and external stakeholders on new tools and processes
  • Conceptualize, drive and deploy social marketing campaigns, independently and as a team
  • Ensure thoughtful planning and pacing of content with internal and external partners
  • Coordinate with team to develop and manage efficiencies in the intake process and communication
  • Operational support on team workflow, coverage planning and communication
  • Manage content distribution across platforms like Sprinklr and ensure all native posts is completed on time
  • Track campaign timelines and ensure timely delivery of content and strategy requests


  • Minimum 2+ years of social media marketing experience
  • Minimum 2+ years of music industry experience (preferred)
  • Experience in coordinating cross-functional partners and marketing requests into clear content plans
  • Experience utilizing Sprinklr and social calendaring software
  • Knowledge of and passion for music talent and the fast-paced industry
  • Experience in the music industry and a deep understanding of the inner workings of the business (i.e. artists, managers, labels, new release rollouts, etc.)
  • Knowledgeable in the functions and use of social media platforms: YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, Reddit, TikTok (and others)
  • Knowledgeable in YouTube content, online creators, music talent, and Gen Z voice
  • Client-facing problem-solver, a track record of instituting new processes, and is organized across multiple workflows simultaneously
  • Excellent writing skills to produce editorial output that reflects brand objectives and current cultural trends
  • Ability to summarize insights and unify trends to create actionable recommendations for client campaigns and ongoing engagement tactics
  • Proficient in Google tools including GMail and Google services (Docs, Sheets, etc.)
  • Experience in the management of production process for all custom programs, from the creation of content to program launch
  • History of developing and maintaining production schedules and assets
  • Must have a valid passport
  • 4+ years of music experience
  • 4+ years of social media marketing experience
