BeatBox reaches millions of 21+ Gen Z & Millennials at festivals and on social media every year, and we are looking for an experienced Senior Director of Social & Digital Marketing to continue to expand our reach online.

BeatBox is looking for a Leader who has experience building and scaling online communities both digitally and on social media through innovative storytelling and strategy, and a network of contacts both with influencers and brands who can help BeatBox reach new heights when it comes to our digital and social reach.
In this role, you will lead and drive the strategy, execution, and measurable impact of our social media account presence, manage and scale a growing digital and social media team, and take ownership of BeatBox’s digital presence online. Additionally, this role will build and manage our 360° Digital & Social Media Marketing strategy around key music festivals, influencer partnerships, and support our in-store marketing initiatives with online experiences. The right leader will have a clear vision for a digital & social strategy, calendar, and team structure to drive toward significant ROI, online growth, and overall business outcomes.
This leader will report to the VP of Business Development and will interact daily with other key Brand, Creative and Digital team members to increase traffic to BeatBox’s website and social accounts, increase our brand’s overall social media growth, and drive customer awareness of BeatBox.
The ideal Senior Director of Social & Digital Marketing will come into BeatBox with endless big ideas, but will also keep an eye toward solid business outcomes, important growth & ROI metrics and maintain a well managed budget. The person should also like to roll up their sleeves and dig in on any details necessary to support the team. Above all else, we have a strict “No A**hole Policy” in our organization :-)
Job Duties And Responsibilities
  • Build & own the near and long-term digital & social media strategies to deliver against company and marketing priorities, including brand awareness, audience acquisition, social media growth, and demand generation
  • Manage & scale a fast paced digital & social media marketing team to achieve marketing growth, reach, and demand initiatives
  • Develop a well-formed, agreed strategy for business outcomes and measurement of key metrics across the brand, demand generation, acceleration, community building and customer awareness of BeatBox
  • Work closely with the VP of Business Development and other key leaders to ensure cross-functional alignment on marketing goals and target outcomes
  • Leader must have a deep understanding of social media trends and platforms, e-commerce (Shopify), digital advertising, scaling & managing an online community, and overall digital & social media marketing strategies & best practices
  • Manage and mentor a high-performing team of digital & social media marketers to ensure goals and audience expectations are always exceeded, and the BeatBox brand is always well represented
  • Maintain a network of partners/freelancers to assist with various aspects of digital & social media marketing, including influencers and celebrities, relevant on-trend brands, and creatives who can help build BeatBox’s online presence
  • Tightly manage overall digital & social budgets to ensure full transparency and on target budget execution
  • Track ROI, engagement, and audience growth to measure results, assess opportunities for improvement, and optimize for future digital & social initiatives

Requirements

Required Skills
  • 10+ years’ experience running Digital & Social Media Marketing campaigns for a top consumer goods brand
  • Excellent knowledge of and hands-on experience with all aspects of digital & social media marketing
  • Exemplary executive presence and communication skills
  • A strong collaborator who is adaptable and can pivot quickly when needed
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while multitasking, re-prioritizing projects, and communicating priority updates to key stakeholders & team members
  • Strategic and out-of-the-box thinker with broad perspective and proven ability to execute big picture ideas
  • A dedicated leader who is passionate about creating amazing experiences and managing/mentoring a high-performance team

  • Maintain overall responsibility for the digital & social media marketing budget
