The Sales and Trade Marketing Manager will report to the Head of Sales & Trade Marketing in support of developing and positioning Vevo’s B2B brand among the advertising and buying community within the US and International markets. You will work within a fast-paced environment with the responsibility of planning and executing strategic marketing initiatives and campaigns that drive sales, further Vevo’s brand objectives and align with key industry events.
Responsibilities:
The Manager of Trade Marketing is responsible for driving Vevo’s ad-sales revenue, awareness and and client demand by leading the national and international go-to-market strategy across the following areas:
  • (1) Vevo Sales Materials: Develop client facing sales materials that demonstrates the value proposition of becoming an advertising partner including presentations, sizzle videos, e-blasts, premiums and more
  • (2) Vevo Branded Events and Experiences: Develop immersive, one-of-a-kind experiences for internal Sales team, in addition to external client events that position Vevo as a brand leader/innovator within the marketplace
  • (3) Industry / Trade Events: Support the planning and production of client and industry events such as Cannes, CES, SXSW and a global marketing calendar that includes PR, speaking engagements, industry event sponsorships, ad campaigns, and more
  • Work closely across sales, research, communications, and product teams to help solve challenges through compelling narratives and marketing tools; internally and externally
  • Lead projects, campaigns and events from beginning to end: Content strategy, ideation, research insights, pitching, branding, list management and execution
  • Manage a content marketing calendar and the execution of digital ad campaigns
  • Evolve Vevo’s B2B email marketing strategy
  • Maintain external relationships with vendors and trade partners

Requirements

Ideal Candidate Will:
  • Have a strong understanding of the Television and Digital Video advertising industry, and evolving CTV landscape.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and through visual presentations
  • Have the ability to tell compelling narratives by analyzing and distilling into insights and positioning
  • Have the ability to project manage multiple marketing campaigns including branding, collateral, merchandise & event execution against tight deadlines on an ongoing basis
  • Have past experience partnering with Industry trade events and publications
  • Have familiarity with LinkedIn campaigns, email marketing platforms, and digital ad buying for B2B brands
  • Be familiar with international markets, specifically the UK, Australia, Canada and Mexico
  • Be self-motivated to exceed expectations on an individual and team level
  • Have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence others in order to achieve common goals
  • Maintain strict organizational habits
Requirements:
  • 5+ years experience in sales and or trade marketing with time spent at a TV network, CTV platform, OTT provider or FAST service, where the individual was responsible for supporting a team in the development of presentations, sponsorships and events
  • Master of Powerpoint (photoshop and other Adobe programs a plus)
  • Ability to travel
