We are looking for a highly creative, analytical and results-oriented Prime Music Marketing Lead to help build and launch new product marketing initiatives supporting Prime Music, working cross-functionally across Amazon teams, influencing and leading partners to think big, invent and simplify, and deliver on project roadmaps. A successful candidate for this role will be an independent, creative problem-solver with great business acumen, and the ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously while managing competing deadlines. You will have product marketing, program management and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work independently under time constraints to deliver results.
Key job responsibilities
  • Ideate, manage, and execute marketing strategy to drive Adoption and Engagement of Prime Music globally.
  • Lead complex, cross-functional product marketing go-to-market initiatives.
  • Partner closely with product teams to influence product roadmap and features that drive adoption and engagement.
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative market research studies to inform product messaging and positioning, sharing insights and next steps with leadership.
  • Identify and pursue cross-category opportunities, partnering with teams across Amazon, including Prime Video, Alexa, Twitch, Audible.
  • Play a lead role in identifying ROI for new Marketing strategies, partnering with BI and Finance orgs to identify trade-offs and recommendations.
  • Leverage new or emerging trends to identify new customer audiences to drive adoption of Prime Music via new content, including, marquee shows, podcasts, exclusives, and more.
  • Represent category as the Prime Music lead, reporting trends to leadership via business reviews.
A day in the life This individual will partner with teams across Amazon Music and Prime to drive growth strategies in an effort to increase Prime Member awareness, interest, trial and adoption of Amazon Music. This role will lead the Product Marketing strategy and report to senior leadership on progress and upcoming projects, and champion best practices across global teams. You should be well versed in customer behavior, business drivers, and conceive new initiatives to improve KPIs.
Position can be located in Los Angeles, New York, Seattle, or San Francisco.


Basic Qualifications
  • 8+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
  • Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams
  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
  • Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data
  • Experience presenting metrics and progress to goal to senior leadership
  • BA/BS, MBA or equivalent work experience
  • 6+ years of product marketing and digital marketing experience, developing and driving high-performing marketing campaigns across large cross-functional teams
  • Global experience driving global marketing programs
  • Understanding of customer lifecycle marketing, including customer lifetime value, early life habit formation, retention, and churn
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; comfortable presenting across all levels of the organization including to senior leadership
  • Proven experience in digital marketing or product management, ideally in entertainment or for a subscription service
  • Ability to earn trust with colleagues, foster collaboration, and influence without authority to drive projects to completion
  • Resourceful problem solver who is comfortable operating in an ambiguous space
  • Ability to balance strategic and operational responsibilities; deliver on day-to-day needs while shaping the larger strategy
  • Understanding of digital products and the entertainment industry
  • Analytical and quantitative skills; ability to think critically and use data to derive insights and inform marketing plans
  • Leadership and communication skills to drive recommendations, articulate tradeoffs, and communicate plans to senior executives
Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA/advanced degree
  • 8+ years with digital media (video, music, games, software) and/or consumer subscription products.
  • 3+ years of mobile experience with consumer technology product or service
  • Experience managing across global teams and KPIs
