Job Requirements
Sweetwater, the nation’s #1 online retailer of pro audio equipment and music instruments is seeking to hire a Service Coordinator to add to our growing Music Store team. This individual will serve as a service expert within the Music Store, and as a liaison to the Sweetwater Service Department by greeting, assessing the needs of, and completing service-related transactions for customers in the Music Store.
Job Responsibilities
Assisting customers with drop off and pickup of repairs serviced by Guitar Shop and Electronic Repair departments and provide appropriate documentation. Facilitates service on items being considered for purchase, items that need service that can be completed in 15 minutes or less for customers waiting in Store, provide documentation, and consult with those customers. Facilitate simple repairs on items taken in for trade as well as assist in maintenance of items on display.


  • Bachelor’s degree with concentration in music tech, music performance, or music instrument repair preferred
  • 3 – 5 years of experience with music tech and music instrument repair
  • Ability to assess musical electronic items
  • Ability to perform intermediate level guitar repairs
  • Customer service skills
