We’re looking for an enthusiastic Music Manager that is responsible for curating and designing our music programming across multiple brands throughout North America – based in Los Angeles. This is a role at the intersection of music, culture and fitness that reports to our Head of Music & Programming. We are looking for an ambitious and creative team player to join our team.
In the role, you will:
  • Develop and manage an innovative music strategy for all RSG Group brands
  • Manage our programming and acquisition strategy for our in-club entertainment, including but not limited to our radio channels and screen content
  • Manage talent relationships and bookings
  • Create experiences with a finger on the pulse of cultural trends & talent, bringing fresh ideas to the table that continue to engage members and guests
  • Ensure member events are appealing to our local community, by keeping up with the current composition of talks, live sessions, DJ sets, parties, supper clubs, workshops, and other fitting formats
  • Curate, organize and manage bespoke cultural programming in close collaboration with our Art & Culture department
  • Maintain relationships with talent and exciting storytellers in the cultural space in close collaboration with the brand partnership and membership teams
  • Work closely with marketing, communications, and design product teams to create unique quality experiences

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years’ of professional experience in music and cultural programming
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Music Engineering preferred
  • Experience with fitness, hospitality, lifestyle, and/or retail industry
  • Experience in playlist curation and a in depth music knowledge across all genres
  • Knowledge of Radio Background and music scheduling systems like RSC GSelector or MusicMaster is a plus.
  • Experience with artist relations, working with various levels of talent and other industry profiles
  • Willingness to expand network of talent, tastemakers, storytellers, and entrepreneurs
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills and ability to establish rapport with others to build strong interpersonal relationships
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a busy/fast paced environment and maintain composure and demonstrate quick and efficient decision making
  • Availability to work flexible in the daily schedule to handle event needs and willingness to work outside of typical business hours including nights and weekends
  • Passion for fitness
