Music Festival Asst Publicist



NFAMOUS is looking to fill a support role in our Festival Division immediately
The individual will report to our Festival Team lead and should have a minimum one year experience in an assistant role in a publicity or other agency setting
We are looking for a self starter who is used to a fast-paced work environment and can handle themselves onsite at events/festivals.
Role Includes:
  • Maintaining + Submitting Press Lists for all client Events and Festivals
  • Maintaining press request documents for festivals and events - sending updates on status of approvals and festival news on a timeline provided by the Team Lead
  • Communicating with artist management and publicity teams to set up press opportunities before and on-site at festivals
  • Asset delivery / chasing coverage secured by team lead including phone interviews / Q&A coordination, press shot delivery, follow ups, and more
  • Keeping Client Planners updated with status of outgoing pitches
  • Researching new sites / contacts weekly and updating our pitching lists
  • Answering a high volume of emails on a daily basis
  • Handling weekly reporting in Google Docs
  • Managing all tasks in shared to do list
  • Taking clear, detailed notes during weekly calls with client with action items
  • Onsite Festival press check in / credential + press list management
  • Onsite Festival interview coordination, social takeovers, etc


  • Ability to work under high pressure with speed and accuracy
  • Proactive in determining roadblocks
  • Ability to multitask
  • Excellent communication and writing skills required
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to maintain professional behavior around high profile clients and artists
  • Knowledge of various regional publications, blogs, and national publications preferred
  • At least 1 year of assistant level experience
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
