Content and Social Media Manager
Description
- Develop and foster relationships with all the major social platforms
- Manage our artists social content strategy and execution, including idea generation & planning, content creation, editing, content calendar development and management
- Develop aggressive growth and conversion strategies across Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, YouTube, TikTok, reddit and Discord, and advise on each channel’s best practices.
- Developing strong relationships with artists, management and their teams.
- Lead brainstorm sessions internally
- Stay informed on emerging trends and technology, and provide updates to internal teams and clients
- Interpreting data to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
- Partner with curators & influencers to promote our artists and their music
- Arrange live digital events, channel takeovers, and other artist-first activations
- Organise collaborative opportunities for our artists across social media
- Analyze social media posts/sentiment performance, report metrics, recommendations to internal divisions, and continuously optimize for engagement + conversion.
- Initiate audience building activations like contests, giveaways, and UGC campaigns
- Exploring and championing new methods of digital marketing across the business.
Requirements
- A passion for the new streaming first music business and social media.

- An entrepreneurial mindset and creative approach to problem solving.
- A love of fast paced working environments and an ability to deliver on multiple deadlines and prioritise.
- A social media and pop culture enthusiast.
- A strong analytical thinker with real experience using data and metrics to measure performance and determine recommendations
- Min. 2 years prior experience in a marketing or social media role within a creative industry
- Good understanding of music release planning and streaming growth, fan engagement and audience building strategies.
- A basic understanding of creative software tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator and iMovie would be an asset
- Use of all major social media channels with excellent analytical skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to work within a team
