Description

We are now looking for an Analytics Team Lead that can support the product teams in the future growth of the Epidemic Sound experience across web and the mobile app. As an Analytics Team Lead, you will lead a team of data scientists and analysts in planning, prioritizing and executing on initiatives, working closely with the Core User Experience teams to provide analytics support and user behaviour insights to create a smooth and frictionless product experience. You will also partner with product leadership in defining metrics, supporting business reporting, informing the product strategy and how we can achieve and measure our goals by leveraging data and experimentation. This role does not include line management responsibilities.
How you will make an impact Working closely with the team, you will find and deliver actionable insights in our data to help our product grow. You will support the teams in experimentation strategy and A/B test design, ensuring that tests are impactful, insights are actionable and drive business value.
You will play a key role in building the analytics capabilities of a growing team, cooperate with analysts to support the various teams/departments and make sure we have a holistic view of our business areas. Furthermore, you will collaborate with the other Analytics Team Leads to drive improvements in how we work with data and the tools we use to maximize productivity.

Requirements

Who you are
We believe you have a passion for data, tech and music, love an entrepreneurial vibe and that you are skilled in data analysis, visualization and communication. We also believe you are humble, love teamwork, have a curious mindset and experience working closely with cross-functional teams. You are a fast learner and passionate problem solver with experience leading an analytics unit, coordinating and prioritizing work, as well as coaching the members of the team. You should have recent experience working with large, real-world datasets from a digital, data-driven environment and a strong record of drawing business insights to create value.
Other skills we believe you have:
  • Solid experience working in an analytics role, and a degree in science, computer science, mathematics, or similar quantitative discipline
  • Experience leading and coaching others in an Analytics team
  • Previous experience working with analytics in a web or mobile application
  • Experience with running and analyzing A/B tests at scale
  • Fluency in Python/R and SQL for data analysis
  • Good understanding of cloud technologies, such as GCP and AWS
  • Good understanding of data engineering practices and data modeling
  • Merit to those with experience from a growing product-focused company
  • Fluency in English, verbal and written
