We are seeking an accessibility champion who is passionate about bringing accessibility and inclusive design to Discogs in order to help us further our mission of serving the music fan in everyone. Put your accessibility related expertise and experience to work to help us build a company-wide accessibility program, the goal of which is to transform our websites, mobile apps, content, communications, and help system to welcome and enable users of all abilities to pursue their love of music.
** A Day in the Life** You will provide subject matter expertise in accessibility, assistive technology, and universal design while collaborating with key stakeholders in all areas of the business. You will establish and maintain a company-wide accessibility program that is fully integrated into our products, communications, and help system. You will coordinate and contribute to roadmaps, process, procedure, governance, and tools to create a foundation for a successful accessibility program. You will be on point to answer questions on implementing specific program requirements, tools, and general topic areas around accessibility.


  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in digital accessibility
  • Proven knowledge of WCAG 2.0, 2.1, 2.x guidelines, 508 refresh compliance and VPAT
  • Experience in Program Management
  • Knowledge in Accessibility regulation
  • Experience with internal policy generation and governance
  • Basic evaluation skills of web applications and mobile applications
  • Experience in creating accessible electronic documents
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience advocating for accessibility principles and working to align an organization to them
  • Experience conducting usability testing with people with disabilities
  • Experience with accessibility and HTML, CSS, Javascript preferred
  • Preferred certifications:
  • IAAP Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies (CPACC)
  • IAAP Web Accessibility Specialist (WAS)
